Home project #2 process post 2

I have finished a constructed landscape (project 1 of 2), inspired by Paula McCartney from the Art Assignment website. I used sand, rocks, weeds, and twigs to create the landscape. I was having trouble creating interesting backgrounds that looked like a sky, but after editing the photos, some of them became very interesting. My favorite photo is the plain white piece of paper background that was heavily edited to create shadows that look exactly like clouds. Overall, I think that figuring out the composition and finding which colors for the background would fit with the rest of the landscape will help me in my future work.
